Computer is running slow

Sounds like a Windows Machine. I’m not a total Apple fanboy but when it comes to physical computers Apple is the way to go unless your a HaRrrrrdKORRE gaymer.

My computer has a Linux operating system. I am having the same problems with Chrome. My other browsers on the same computer are not having any problems.

So twice now it’s told me something has gone wrong and it’s unable to reset windows. Which makes me definitely think it’s a problem with Windows.

Trying to optimize my hard drive right now.

Ultimately I’ll wipe the whole thing if I have to, but I don’t currently own an external hard drive to back up my files, so I’ll have to wait until I get one first.

Or more specifically, it’s kind of hiccuping. It’s not necessarily slow, but when it will occasionally like, “freeze” for a few seconds. Always when I pull up my web browser. Chrome suddenly became unusable for me a few weeks back. Just kept timing out as it loaded. Downloaded Firefox and it works fine, other than the occasional hiccups, but it’s not always when I’m in my browser.

I’ve run a full scan for viruses and malware and all that’s popped up is a couple of trackers. Did the power eraser and if found no threats. More than enough space still in my hard drive. There’s nothing running in the background that takes up a ton of space or usage. Any suggestions on what it could be or what to try to do to fix it?
Have you tried not jizzing on it?

Update: went to try re-install of Windows again to get a screenshot of the error for @ISUCyclones2015 and it actually ended up going through and re-installing. Works fine now.

@MeowingCows i owe you a beer.
