really excited about this pickup, has fast lateral movement, and get to the whole quick, has the hands to catch out off the backfield, and can also break tackles and be physical with contact. Have high hopes for this man once he steps foot on campus.

It would be interesting to get an EMU locker room perspective on his teammate who went after the South Alabama player.

Would be great if he can supplant Noel as kick returner. Didn't see that he does punt returns. Noel is very solid at KR, I just get nervous having top-level starters be return guys. Can take some big hits.

Can never have too much speed.

Here’s my hot take. If he is indeed used as a returner, he’ll push ISU’s return team to top 5 in the big 12. For reference, finished 9th and 10th in 2023

He's not being added with the expectation to be Darren Sproles, he's a nice depth piece with the potential to play special teams.
I would like to see him at punt returner / kick returner. (or someone diff)

I would argue Noel is too important to the offense now to get injured on punt return and kick return. Also worth mentioning Noel isn't that efficient at kick return anyway. He took way too many out last year and didn't get to the 25 yard line.

A package with he AND Noel on offense would offer a lot of speed. All about match ups & if he is 10.7-ish 100 meters (or even sub-that), well sign me up.

Also, with Barrett & him, these are guys with 3 years in collegiate football. It would appear we are after guys who will help immediately & trying to capitalize off of our up-and-coming QB in Becht.
