Coming Soon From Big 12

Egregious calls that cost teams victories in the last few minutes of games should be reviewed by the conference and ruled ties. It has happened a lot to ISU. The one at BU was glaring.

With today's technology, one would think the head of officiating can instantaneously rule from their front office. But, only if it's a rule interpretation.

It infuriates me to no end, that this BS keeps happening.
I just feel there is no excuse for it. The conferences and CFB in general need to fix it.
They need to add 1-2 more Replay review officials, and one of them needs to be a ball spot and out of bounds guy. The other a rules / procedures guy. They watch and review every play. If they witness any issues or something that warrants additional review time, they call down and stop play.
All calls made by Replay officials need documented comments on reasons for the call / decision. This should be released to public immediately following the game. Any screw ups, the conference head of officiating is responsible.

It has been shown over and over that the current setup of field Refs and Replay isn't adequate to successfully officiate a game. Why aren't we trying to fix or improve this.

The NFL has a rule that coaches can challenge calls. They do. But the officials never overrule themselves. I always go back to that Ku/ISU basketball game as the worst I've ever seen.

Seems like this would be a subject for an investigative journalist or maybe a research project. Maybe ESPN 30 for 30 or a short series by someone. Until the problem is proven (many would deny there's a problem) then you will never get it fixed.
