A friend of mine recently attended the Jayhawk Invitational AAU Tournament in Lawrence, KS, and about 3,000 KU fans came out to support Harrison. He was apparently the talk of the town all weekend. As has been posted here previously, his team won the tournament and he was named MVP. Next weekend, there is a tournament here at the new Kingdom Hoops facility (3305 SE Delaware). How cool would it be for ISU fans to come out and match the enthusiasm shown by KU fans. See below for more information:
The USSSA Midwest Festival of Teams has become one of the best spring events in the Midwest. Last year 91 teams from Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Oklahoma attended the event. Many of the top travel programs in the country use this event as a summer warm up. This year we are combining all age groups into one weekend. The event will be open to 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 17U Boys teams.
