Enjoy.

Keep your head on a swivel, you never know when a player is going to be in your lap.

First game of Holmes reminds me or a poor man’s Shayok. Wish he’d past a bit more, but when the game is over his stat line is solidly effective.

Osun, Lipsey, and Gabe were all great. Ward and Watson were good off the bench. I think our depth is promising this year.

I loved watching Osun on the bench during the second half. He was the biggest cheerleader on the team. No pun intended. When someone would make a good play, he would run along the sideline imitating and celebrating it. It was awesome!

My opener takeaways would be:

- Surprised to see Gabe not start
- Holmes is going to be the guy to get a late game bucket off the bounce for us
- The 3 freshman are not going to be shooters this year based on what I saw in warmups
- Osun looked the part, feel like he could have had 20 tonight easy if we went to him
-No turnovers and good defense from Tamin, that’s exactly what we need from him this season.
- “Kill, kill, kill” chant was back. Definitely not my favorite but the team must want it again?

Actually the kill chant is pretty good it ramps up the defensive intensity while going for that 3rd stop in a row. I like it but to each their own.
