Collegiate Duals Mon 12/18

Pitt is a tricky dual in the sense that we're slight favorites in a lot of matches, but there are very few, if any, non-competitive matchups on paper. A couple slight upsets and it's a very close dual.

Cornell is loaded. There are so many interesting matchups there, with a Carr-Ramirez rematch, Shapiro-Chittum, Foca-Feldkamp, and an Ech-Cornella rematch

I would imagine we will bring a few back ups who will get mat time as well so that should be fun.

Most looking forward to Carr/Ramirez, but my gut tells me that won’t happen.
I think Cornell will want to win the dual. Do they have a backup that they think can prevent bonus?

Nasir Bailey v. Evan Frost will be a fun one to watch.
Bailey hasn't yet been tested as a DI wrestler, but he's handled the lower-ranked guys he's seen. Baily likes to put points on the board, so it should be a fun and active match.

Other than Bailey, Stephen Little at 197 is looking really tough. His only loss is to Buchannan of OK, and he solidly beat Jaxon Smith from Maryland earlier this season.

All three duals will be tons of fun to watch.

Really interested to see Shapiro vs. Chittum. Shapiro looked invincible in dominating Andonian (who pinned Chittum) but then he lost a couple of head-scratchers, one of them to Cardanes who Chittum probably should have beat. Not sure if Meyer got hurt later in the CKLV or what the deal was.
