College Students...Question about the bars in Ames

It's been years since I have been in the bars on Welch. When I was a student there you were able to get 32 oz plastic mugs from certain bars and on Fridays (FAC) you could get them filled for $2.

My question is...do they still do this? Are the bars still selling these mugs or is there some place in Ames to get something like that? I would love to get a couple mugs if possible. Thanks

Mug nights are on Thursdays. You can buy the mugs then. That's the only night they do anything.

It's changed to mug night on Thursday.... I have about 20 mugs packed away somewhere (recent grad) if you'd be interested... It was easy picking to gain new mugs when you were a bartender.
