I turned on ESPN at 8:50, 10 minutes early (so I thought) for College Game Day to see what they had to say 2 days later. Since when does it start at 8:00? Did I miss anything about Thursday night in the first 50 minutes?

And unrelated, who is this Rachel Markle?

it started a few years ago, but the first hour was on espnu, this year they switched it. the first hour was almost entirely OSU-NW (film study with miller and an interview with fitzgerald).

rachel markle is an alum now known as meghan markle (actress).

Biggest game of the day is EIU-MSU ... for those living in Iowa City.

Actually, the most interesting game may be UNI-LakeBison.

Fox Sports ran an exposé comparing Rhoads' speech with some of the most ridiculous college coach speeches of years past.

I felt it was insulting...I'll leave it at that.

Good thing no one watches Fox Sports yet. I hope it catches on, and puts ESPN in its place. Competition for them is long over due. But with that said, I have tried to watch their Saturday morning CFB preview show and I just cant make the switch yet.

They're starting to find their personality, but they need to add some intrigue to compete with ESPN College Gameday. I think they should have started with an on-campus show to begin with, but I understand having a season without it so they can test run the personnel. They've got to move into that next season though, with an on-campus Fox College Gameday.

...that, and they have to get rid of the robots and the NFL music. College games should be marketed separately.
