Club Baseball

For all of you that really wish that Iowa State had a baseball team, I am with you. I am one of the players for the Iowa State Club Baseball team, and wanted to share our website/schedule with any of you that may be interested. Believe it or not, or main rival and conference foe is the University of Iowa, and it would be awesome if you would consider coming to that series on the weekend of April 5th. Admission is free of charge, and all games are played at THE Cap Timm Field.

Unfortunately, Cap Timm field isn't that nice to have the "THE" in front of..

Such a shame.

Believe it or not, while it is by no means in the same shape it used to be, we have taken really good care of it. The GSB is looking into funding an irrigation system as well, and rec services is beginning to give more money to the club for field maintenance.

It was once a very beautiful field. I'll never forget beating #1 Nebraska there.

That being said, the last year or so, I've visited a few college baseball stadiums that completely blow Cap Timm out of the water - and the teams aren't even consistently great.
