The race to the bottom begins in less than an hour. Hopefully Joey Votto can provide some sparks from time to time but this season doesn't offer much hope of anything beyond that. Maybe we can reach 100 losses? That would be remarkable, I spose.

Your Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Starter is Raisel Iglesias. He played last year at... hmmm, I can't find it... oh, hmm, where did I put that? ... ******, I can't find it... the hell with it!

I'm sure he was a hell of a player, wherever it was. Good luck to him and the Reds!

Reds Win! Reds Win! They set a GABP Regular Season attendance record today, and it was chilly! I smell wire to wire!

We swept the A's in the 1990 World Series and it was glorious. Additional highlights since then below...

Eric Davis was phenomenal in that series, even with the injuries.
I wish he could have stayed healthy. He was one of the most fun talents I remember in a while. If he'd been healthy when Griffey came along, and they both stayed healthy, that's possibly the greatest outfield most of us ever see.

Eric Davis remains my favorite ballplayer to this day.

Game winning walk off RBI by Scott Schebler (from Cedar Rapids, IA) tonight! Reds are 2-0 and going wire to wire!

Jay Bruuuuuuuce with the walkoff triple!
5-1 heading to Chicago next. Oh boy.
