Dispensary weed is expensive. Street weed is way cheaper and even though the quality isn't usually as good there is still a huge market for it. Even in states with legal recreational. I'm guessing half of the consumers of weed in this country can't afford dispensary product. An O on the street is 150-250$ while you are talking at least 300 at a dispensary. I myself can get a dispensary quality O for $200. I only use dispensaries for carts and edibles.

There's no reason other than regulation and handing out a narrow string of permits (almost always to the politically connected) that street drugs should be cheaper. They are more interested in revenue and control than they are in mitigating use.

Agreed. Last time I bought a ball I got it from a guy I know in Greater STL who gets it from Texas. I made him do a few rails off of the same brick first.

Agreed, but tax revenue is the only thing that makes it appealing to legalize for people who don't smoke it.
