Looks like the freshman has put up some decent numbers so far this year averaging 11.4 ppg, 3.2 rpg, and 2.6 apg. He had a season high 22 points on 11/28 against a team I've never heard of. Cal however, has had a pretty crumby start to the season with a 4-6 record.

Makes me wonder how he would have fit on this team? He clearly has skills, so he would have found some minutes I imagine.

Personally, I like checking in on guys we missed on or guys we passed on just to see if they're playing how I expected and to see if our staff evaluated them well. So at least one person appreciated your update :)
Here's another one:
Here are McKinley Wright's stats at Colorado:

15.7 pts, 5.3 reb, 4.2 assists

I do follow him a bit as he went to our high school and I hear he's a great kid. That being said, I can't blame our staff for passing on him. I would have never thought he'd put up those numbers as a freshman.

Yeah, idk why but I've been kinda rooting for McKinley to have a successful career.

Thanks Doc.

Yeah, definitely not looking at him as if "ohhh what could have been??" but rather I'm just curious how his development is coming along, since our coaching staff clearly liked the kid and had a vision for him on this team.

He’d fit in well as the first guard off the bench. It would be nice to have another primary ball-handler (he’s a better pg right now than Wigginton and DJ), not only this year but the next couple years. Particularly if Wigginton leaves early. Same with Wright at CU.

Looks like many had trouble understanding your thread title. How cunning of you to fool them into reading about McNeill.

I doubt McNeil would have had significant minutes this year. Juiston on the other hand was clearly the bigger miss, as we all know.
