I just want thank the CF staff for putting out quality Podcasts. I have tired to listen to other local and national podcasts and not many can meet how well the CF does theirs. Even the CF radio show is soooo much better than the Hawkeye show that follows it. From the quality of people, to how prepared the hosts are, to how they hosts sound, to topics, what CF is doing to so well done.

Couldn't agree with you more Kingcy! I spend as much free time as possible listening to the myriad of info filled podcasts. I can't even express how grateful I am to have (free) access to this plethora of knowledge from fellow fans and former Cyclone athletes alike. There is no other place on earth like C.F. I'm proud to be a long time member and now a patron. You guys are the bee's knees. Go Cyclones!

Can't tell you guys how much a thread like this means to me. Around 2 years ago I made a conscious decision to really focus on podcasts going forward because of the appetite I sensed from our audience for them and the ability to sell more than just a banner ad. Glad to hear that you all enjoy them so much. Thanks for listening and will continue to strive to get better as time goes on. Thanks!

Agree with this, my primary interest in CF is the podcasts. I also enjoy the articles and boards but the podcasts are the best.
 
Podcasts are best of free entertainment and information in this day and age. I genuinely look forward to every podcast CF puts out.
 
Agreed with everything said. Its amazing how this site is free. I keep waiting for the catch, or the change to a pay site but all we get instead is more and better free content.

Keep up the amazing work.
 
I quite literally check multiple times a day in hopes that there will be a new one. It is my favorite form of content on this site and that's no slight to the writing/articles. I read all of them too.

The radio show was an experience this week. Mediacom is supposed to be at my apartment to fix my internet in the next hour or so then I'll get it uploaded before I leave for the afternoon
 
I have a job that doesn't take much of my attention. I listen to a bunch of national podcasts as well, such as the Ringer network, Nerdist network, etc. The CF podcast network is as productive and high quality as any being produced and it's centered around a historically bad football program in central Iowa. It's honestly an embarrassment of riches for those of us who love this university and their athletic programs.

I'm probably one of the cheapest SOB's you can ever hope to encounter and I've signed up through patreon. It's super easy. It's the cost of basically two McDouble's a month. Just do it.

You're STILL waiting for them to get that set up??? I really hope you are getting this month free. When we had trouble getting our Internet set up, up here my roommate called and laid into them for about 45 minutes and ended up getting 3 months of internet free haha. Which is probably nothing to them, but when you threaten to leave they will usually pull out the stops to get you to stay.
 
Totally agree love the podcasts. Would be interested to know the demographics of people that listen to podcasts in general. Is it more millennials who are increasing podcast growth or just all types of people?

I'd like to dump onto the praise pile too. I'm on the road about six hours a week for hour stretches and listen to the podcasts and enjoy them very much. Keep up the good work.

I love The Ringer (BS, NBA Show, NFL Show, Rewatchables primarily) so this really means a lot.
