CF Bus in Manhattan?

We canceled the bus trip due to lack of interest.

I also hope this doesn't stop the effort to get things like this organized. I think part of the lack of interest might have been that it was sandwiched in between 5 Saturday home games.

Yeah. A lot of people who might go on this trip are probably going to KC in a few weeks too so that wasn't very well thought out. Planning on doing one for football at Kansas next year for sure.

I know some of us that went for KU 2 years ago have already been talking about doing that again. That one was a lot of fun.

You would have had two more if I didn't have a talk scheduled on Saturday (that got cancelled anyway...). Count us in for the FB trip. :)

Yeah the trip was cancelled due to lack of interest. Which is to bad because I think that would have been a fun trip to take with a group of Cyclone fans. Oh well.

I thought the turn out at Porters was pretty solid before the game. I was there for almost 2 hours and I bet there were 40 Cyclone fans that came through there.

That's a tough place to play for an opposing team. I don't think the arena itself is anything to write home about but the crowd was very involved and hostile throughout. The team battled all game despite not having their best last night, and had a chance to steal one.

It was great meeting some fellow CF'ers down there. That's the best part about taking these trips, is meeting all the Cyclone fans.

Am I the only one imagining op waiting on like a bench in front of a bus depot waiting for a bus to come in a blizzard. Possibly while looking at a pocket watch on a chain.

Need to get one set up for next year's holiday tournament in KC in November.

if it had just been a straight trip down and trip back I would of had some interest. This called for a hotel stay which I couldn't afford.

Mike4cy and I were at Porters, definately took the place over. Pretty cool of them to invite us in. The more I thought about it, if I walked into Welch Ave station before a game and it was full of other fans, I'd probably leave :)
