I think so, as long as the Cards win and Cubs lose tonight, and either the Cards win or the Cubs lose on Wednesday. Is that math correct?

E# = 163 - (total wins for leading team + total losses for trailing team)

after last night:
Cards 88 wins + Cubs 72 losses = 160; 163 - 160 = 3

after tonight:
Cards 89 wins + Cubs 73 losses = 162; 163 - 162 = 1

after Wednesday:
Cards 90 wins + Cubs 73 losses = 163; 163 - 163 = 0
or
Cards 89 wins + Cubs 74 losses = 163; 163 - 163 = 0
