Cardinal and Gold Scrimmage

Today at 1:00 Hilton:

Admission is free and there will be no reserved seating. Fans can enter through the South and lower West doors of Hilton. There will be no live video or live stats at the scrimmage and Iowa State will play four 25-minute sets.

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State volleyball begins 2023 action this Saturday, August 12 at 1 p.m. inside Hilton Coliseum with the annual Cardinal and Gold Scrimmage.

I very much enjoy the sport but I'm not anywhere near knowledgeable about VB to make any worthwhile observations. But one thing that stands out to me is Maya Duckworth can really jump!!!

Maya Duckworth is really good..Great athlete and may be our best server. I think we are going to be pretty good but still lack elite size. The Perry girl from Texas seems to have improved a great deal. Really miss Holthaus.
