Our 12 year old lab has been given a preliminary diagnosis of canine laryngeal paralysis. Other than this, she's in great shape. It looks like the treatment options are heavy doses of drugs or surgery. We're going to talk to our vet some more about the options, but I'm wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge of this condition, and the treatment options - success rate, things to ask, potential complications, etc.
