doubt it, since every other reporter (Alex, Jared, Dylan, etc) all reported the same thing.
Also saw that Re-al is in the morning group. It might just be to make sure guys can get their reps in... Zeb running the top group in the afternoon will probably give him equal reps as Kempt in the morning, so Foster/Newell having to sit out for parts of morning and not getting the full reps probably isn't ideal. I presume giving Newell the experience running with the 1s might be more beneficial in preparation for the season than Foster, since Foster's hung with the 1s few times last year.

Campbell said this is the best O-line we've had since he got here. I'm going to trust that with some of the changes that we are seeing.
Is Sean Foster in the doghouse? Did he give up too many sacks or slack off in the weight room? What did I miss?
Based on the first day of camp? Seems a bit premature to conclude that JGJ will be at left tackle. More significant is that Campbell talked weeks ago about Newell being at Center. But for now, I would imagine that they will try all sorts of configurations for the first few days.
The moves reflect the depth that Campbell has achieved...he now can move some players around to get the best fit. In the past we simply threw bodies (ready or not) into the open position because we had to fill it. Now he can pick and choose.
Butler looks primed for dominant year if the dropped catches stay away
Peavy is good, but Butler's height is better. I like that Butler kept running after the catch to rub it in.
This is encouraging news. I know he was only a RS-Freshman last year but Foster still has a long ways to go developmentally.
So, what led to all the reporters declaring by 9:30am that JGJ is the left tackle? Surely, it was more than him lining up there for the first drill. Coaches must have said something about it. Right?
I think he graded around 43 on pro football focus. That is not good.
the o-line was one of the biggest position battles going into fall camp, so it was newsworthy how they rolled out the first unit
Has Devon Moore been lost in the shuffle between Zeb and Re-al/Brock? I know he is coming of the knee injury, but I haven't heard his name once all off-season.
I assume we'll hear more by this evening when the twos and 4s practice. I thought I heard near bowl season that he was doing pretty well with his recovery
You don't typically hear much about a 3rd stringer. We have a clear-cut 1 & 2 right now. Devon's only a RS freshman; after Kyle's gone I'm sure we'll be hearing his name a lot in the "backup battle" next fall.
Hell, considering ISU's revolving door of quarterbacks history, don't be surprised if Devon ends up starting a game or two by the end of the season.
