it's SO hard to win the Triple Crown because the really good Derby horses (besides the winner) generally skip the Preakness to be fresh for the Belmont. So you've got horses that haven't run in 6 weeks up against a horse that's had to train for and run an extra race in the middle.

Thank godness we can stop hearing about horse racing for another year! Only three more crap sports left (baseball, racing and golf) until the real ones begin again. Only good thing about horse racing is it only lasts a few minutes.
