with you on the autoplay video ad audio problem being fixed...it's still happening to me..

Every page I go to I hear, "Hey...it's me...water..."

Makes me want to strangle water, and I love water...please don't make me hurt water...

Chrome, Win7.

Can the video just be removed from the thread view? I usually open 5-10 tabs at a time for different threads. Then my flashplayer skyrockets to a Gb of ram usage because of these videos.

Hell, who am I kidding, same story with Firefox. If you're using Chrome and/or Firefox and have ads, you're doing it all wrong.

You're correct, it is the ISU video player...I never let it play that long and didn't pay attention to what it was...

Start by clearing your cache. I don't think this will do much but it's what Neu Lion is telling me to do. They are working on it.

Cache cleared. ISU video player still auto fires. I guess I don't understand why CF has it set up to auto play any videos at anytime. Why not let the visitor decide on which video to watch and when they want to watch it?

From what it sounds like Chris is saying, this isn't really a CF setting. It's an embedded video, he's contacting the source company.

I personally don't understand why it can't just be said in a polite manner.

Embedded or not doesn't CF ultimately control what content is put through their own site? Who would give up control on that and leave it to a third outside party to decide what is played and when? Doesn't sound like a good business plan to me.
