He got caught in the open - he did the first thing he thought of. Now, if it becomes a habit for the team, it's a different story...but as a one off, he basically got away with one there.

Usually you get a C'mon man for doing something stupid. While he was clearly confused about the personnel on the field, he was quick on his feet(pun intended) and had a clear mind to figure out the solution for the problem. Im not sure a C'mon man is really warranted here.
