If they can't find a taker they'll have to dump him on Wednesday. Otherwise, the compensation for the Jets goes from a fourth rounder this year to a third rounder and a 1.5 millon roster bonus gets triggered.
He'll be released, no one will take on his salary.
That being said, this is good news for LJ as it is another corner he doesn't have to compete with. I believe he will probably start alongside their draft pick last year, Johnthan Banks.

Hopefully LJ has showed enough that he can survive a coaching regime change. I think he has, and he will probably make it under Lovie's system, but sometimes coaches want to bring in their own guys.

Should be good for LJ. Haven't seen him play much since TB is rarely broadcast in these
parts. I have seen highlights of at least 2 LJ pick six's over the past two years though.
