He needs to get a real OC in there and not one of his friends, that's what his biggest problem was. If it's Tedford like rumored, it could be a good move.
I would be happy with a QB in the draft but Glennon has potential. I'm just hoping our RBs can stay healthy next year. Could use another back.
The Bucs are finally making good moves. They haven't since they let Gruden go. Morris/Schiano were two steps back with the program, especially with the talent they have.
This. As a Bears fan, Lovie's defenses were very fun to watch and very, very good. Quite the opposite for the offense.

Marinelli is solid....hopefully they can pry him outta Dallas. I assume if Kiffin is out, they'll want to keep him.
Also a Bears fan and I am absolutely thrilled with this hire. Mainly because he is NOT going to Detroit. I think he would have been the "Magic Pill" there to instill some discipline and solidfy that talented defense. I really don't blame him at all for the offensive struggles in Chicago. He had an absolutely incompetant GM that kept ignoring the offensive line. No surprise the first thing the Bears did this year is sign Bushrod.
While I got tired of Gruden's shtick late in his tenure at Tampa, I always felt that had they went out and gotten Jeff Garcia BEFORE he went the Cleveland/Philly route, things would have been a lot better in Tampa. Not Super Bowl better, but they would have been on the right track. Bruce Gradkowski? That's a guy you'll root for to do well, but C'mon.
Lots of fond memories of Gruden, and they really dismantled that defense too soon.
I bet Lovie will NEVER say again that his #1 goal is to beat a division rival instead of winning the Super Bowl. As Red Foreman from That 70's Show would call him, "dumb asse".
Frickin hate this hire.....Lovie is already poaching arguable the best Dallas Coach - DL coach Rod Marinelli.....Too bad, i wished we could have kept him for a few years, that looks unlikely now....
Bucs will be a contender in a year or two - he will get the right staff in place and be a players coach unlike Schiano....
