Bruce Willis diagnosed with dementia

I think that car crash after hitting Marcellus Wallace and killing Maynard and Zed might have led to this sad diagnosis.

FTD is a bit different from Alzhiemers - earlier onset, often starts as personality changes, word recall (like Bruce) but ultimately the end result is the same. Seems like it starts very slow and then moves faster

Might explain why the had the other diagnosis a couple of years ago.

My understanding is you don't see quite the same plaques that you do with Alzhiemers so it's more a game of ruling other things out. Would make sense in his line of work the aphasia would come up as an issue to be looked into and not be written off as age related forgetfulness.

It's also easy to forget Bruce Willis is almost 70 because he looks like a 50 year old.

Yeah, I’ve been trying to learn more about this stuff since you think Alzheimer’s when you hear dementia. But I have a family member with early Parkinson’s and dementia is something that accompanies that sometimes.
