I know 98% of you guys don't care but rumors are flying that the Browns are up for sale and Randy Lerner is in talks with Jimmy Haslam for the sale of the team. Haslam is the owner of Pilot/Flying J truck stops.

What do you guys think?

Yay another Browns fan!

And I think it will be good for the city. Don't know your connection with the Browns but Cleveland is doing a whole new makeover with this new casino, upgrading Tower City, new hotels, etc etc. Which is all kinda being spearheaded by Dan Gilbert (Cavs Owner), and Haslam is apparently buddy buddy with Gilbert so that could bring more rejuvenation to the city.

Now if this deal goes through, we just need Larry Dolan (Indians Owner) to sell the team to another friend of Gilbert's... Mark Cuban. That **** would fire up Cleveland a ton and do wonders for the city.

I don't see the MLB letting Cuban own a team ever.

My browns are for sale too for half the price if anybody is interested. However you may have to fish them out of the toilet. :jimlad:

Randy Lerner is mostly responsible for how bad the Browns have been the last decade. A new owner is the best thing that could happen to them.

As a Steelers fan I care about this development.

I would prefer that the Browns keep their current horrible owner.
