Saw this on a halftime report just now. Rightfully suspended at least one game, but most likely for more by BU. Why don't they have a **** check also. That was not a soft chick slap.:no:

I'd suspend her for the rest of the season. Since she's one of the bigger names in the college game, I doubt they let her miss the NCAA's.

One game is the punishment mandated by the NCAA, but the rules say the conference and/or school can add more to it, so the Big XII is looking into adding more. My guess is you aren't going to see her on the court until December at the earliest.

Doug Gotlieb was just saying that it should only be one game and if she does it again then it's a season suspension.
That rule is bad, because if I really wanted to punch someone, 1 game suspension only would be worth it to me (unless it's a very important game). I hope that girl (who has a broken nose btw) sucker punches Griner next season, and breaks her nose.

If this was men's BB I bet you that player gets at least 5 games if not more. WOW! Hopefully the NCAA cracks down and adds to the suspension
