Ahhhh...Sunny...new season starts 9/15...can't wait...

If Briggs gets fined for this, somebody needs to give Goodell a good couple kicks in the nuts.

That would be total BS if he was fined for wearing those to honor our country and those lost during such a tragic event.

I couldn't agree more!! Those gloves and cleats are pretty cool, should be sold or auctioned after the game with proceeds going to some kind of victims fund.

I saw Jamal Charles had some too... I hope he wears them on sunday too.. If the NFL is going to fine these guys for wearing them its only fair that they match those fines with donations to a 9/11 fund.....

I tend to like Goodell, but if there was one week it would be in his best interest to not be a total Delta Bravo, it would be this week.

Classy move by @NFL to allow players to wear patriotic shoes on Sunday. Thanks to all the soldiers

Looks like the NFL is going to allow this without fines following.

Good choice by the NFL to allow this. As much as they do the Breast Cancer month, I'm actually surprised they aren't encouraging players to be wearing these things.
