No, that was just some junky pre-season awards. She was 1st team as a sophomore, junior and senior. Unanimous pick last year and this year.

Very nice article. I do take issue with the word "miraculous" in paragraph 5. I think her play was (and is) consistent. She's worked hard for many years and her consistent approach to offense and defense was apparent early on this year.

Plus, seeing five players (center, forward, 3 guards) from four schools being unanimous picks is amazing as well. There is respect among the league's coaches.

They did seem to weight the selection heavily to upperclassmen for 1st team. Only one sophomore, Gray from the Cowboy's. Probably three players on that list that I think Scott is better than.
