I'm surprised none of the "experts" picked Hunter Dekkers for their breakout player. I think for our season to be even moderately successful, a breakout by Dekkers is absolutely necessary. He's the obvious pick for me. If he breaks out in a major way, the season could even be more than moderately successful.

To me, a breakout player is someone who played a good amount of snaps the year prior and then has a strong next year. I think on offense the obvious answer is Jirehl Brock
Totally disagree with you I totally agree is the quarterback Hunter

Best country song title: "You can lock me up in jail and throw away the key but you can't keep my face from breaking out."

Honestly, the fact that NONE of these guys mentioned Dekkers or Brock is a bit concerning. I would figure both of them need to be fixtures if not focal points of the offense in order to get to 6 wins. I get it though, big shoes to fill of long time fan favorites. Replacing Purdy and Breece is like replacing Georges and Monte. Let's hope Dekkers and Brock fare a little better than Lindell Wigginton and Jeff Beverly.

In BB it's all about the PG. In FB, it's the QB. Touches the ball nearly every offensive play.

Dekkers! Hope he can do it, big!

Jaylin Noel. I think he's going to be a special teams weapon.
He steps up, the pressure moves off of and opens the door wider for X to get friendly defensive looks.

Also, I talked to briefly Jaylin earlier this summer. He has some serious and genuine drive to be great. He’s a really, really solid and likable kid.

Talk about an overreaction.

CMC literally said this is the best RB group he's ever coached with Brock leading the charge. Not sure what more could be said.

Concerns!!!!! Nobody will break out!!!

What if they all just contribute in a way that actually produces ball control style!!!???

I have a feeling he will be VERY solid....obviously not fair to compare to Breece as Breece had the vision, speed, and "razzle" at times....I think Brock will be more of a "silent" "get a hundred" yards on his power...but an occasional bigger play.

As other said, Dekkers may be by default if he plays decent....but i also think with Brock we were used to some of the "dramatic" big plays where Dekkers i think will be more of a "stat stuffer" and traditional QB (good throws, smart reads/progressions, getting the 2-3 yards when needed)
