great to hear thanks for the update. all he needs is some good camps and he will rise back up the chart
I think you have to throw last seasons numbers out the window, he was double and tripled every game as we was often the only option. I look for his stock to regain its position as we move closer to the draft after he competes well in camps/workouts in the summer.
Craig is going to be a better NBA player than a college player. Some guys games are just not college like. Some dominate in college but there game does not transfer to the NBA (Fizer).
Thank you Chad Ford, for confirming what I knew. I get ridiculed by some people on here for defending Craig Brackins because for some reason they want to blame him for our bad season last year. It was not his fault that GMac can't coach, or his fault that Gmac has a horrible offensive system, or that our guard play besides a few good games by Garrett was horrible, or that no one would move to get open when he was double and triple teamed, or that when he did get open in the post people couldn't get him the ball.
too bad we didn't see him attack the basket hard during games last year. I seem to remember for the most part the 17 ft fade away threes, and constant quick shots down the floor.
Fizer's NBA game was fine. His team was awful and he was injured for a good portion of his career.
Not to mention a well spoken and polite young man, will represent ISU well in the NBA. Wouldn't be suprised to see him return to finish his degree when his NBA career is over.
I hope things work out for him. He worked hard and the teams lack of success wasn't for lack of effort on his part. As mentioned, I think he will be a good representative of ISU in the NBA.
I too said similar things...in the NBA, he's going to have other people on his team that are stars, so first they won't be double teaming Brackins anyway. Secondly, nobody plays defense in the NBA anyway. I always thought it was the product of a combination of a ****** offensive system and players who didn't know how to draw defenders away from him. Players in the NBA are good and they also know how to draw defenders away from a guy getting double/triple teamed
Exactly. There won't be a bigger indictment of the Gmac era than Brackins' pro success.
It literally makes me sick, that this guy didnt get too win more games as Cyclone. Brackins will go down as one of the best Cyclones ever. His loyalty to his team and our school is outstanding. Going to miss him! Here is to hoping he goes to the Bulls!
