Billy Gillispie Resigns from Texas Tech

Gillispie resigned less than one month after being hospitalized for kidney problems and abnormal headaches.
What the above should read as:

Gillispie's *** was canned less than a month after being hospitalized for kidney problems and abnormal headaches probably brought on by a ***** named karma.

He's done. He will be flying a cargo plane full of dog **** out of hong kong before he coaches in college again.

any well established coach would be crazy to take the tech job. no support for that program.

That's a stunned Tech program down there. Just In time for it to be felt by the anger of the Texas techs football team who will take it out against the Iowa State Cyclones next weekend on the field to make them forget about the untimely resignation of their beloved basketball coach......great guy

So I traveled over to Hawkeye Nation just a bit ago like I occasionally do and cant believe my eyes. They are wanting Iowa to take the chance and hire Billy. All they see is a guy that drinks, and they they completely ignore the reason why he is resigning from Tech. I needed a laugh and thought u guys would as well.

I'm not going to go over to HN to see what they are actually saying...but man...how desperate/nuts does one have to be to not see that Billy Clyde is a complete trainwreck right now???

Doc Sadler will get hired there soon. Has too many connections..

I'm seeing that they want rumors from an interim coach (Reggie Theus), Doc Sadler, and Darvin Ham (assistant for Lakers) a former player.

Out of those 3, I would think the best option for them would be Darvin Ham. Tech fans compare it to what we are doing with Hoiberg. Think it could work out for them. If they hire Sadler I'll laugh my *** off. Decent X and O's coach, terrible recruiter which is something Tech needs to avoid in a coach.
