Wow!! I’m stunned. He was a great guy that I would exchange greetings with every once in a while. He always remembered your name. Thoughts and prayers to his family.

Sad. I didn't know him, but my Dad met him a few times and had great things to say about him.

Met him a few times when I was on the Iowa Soybean Board. It was easy to see that Bill was a great leader. He did a lot for Agriculture not only here in Iowa, but across this Country.

Always remembered his name because his seal was always on every gas pump station. RIP.

Bill’s Dad, Wayne, passed away in December. Was in some classes with Bill at ISU. RIP.

Sooo sad, just saw this here now . Bill was a fraternity brother of mine (Farmhouse) at ISU , during ‘78-80 timeframe. Special guy for what he did for Ia Agriculture and nationally.
Haven’t found any details, but had to be sudden as I just heard him on the Big Show a week or so ago.

Haven’t found any details, but had to be sudden as I just heard him on the Big Show a week or so ago.

Yeah, I saw him in person the second week of January and he looked like himself. Really sad. Makes me want to be able to retire younger every day.
