Good Find. It is hard to believe that even tho the Yankees want Z and the Cubs are willing to deal, that trading Z to Yankees will be more of a miracle than the Cubs getting Greinke or Garza this off-season. That just seems backwards, but Z is stubborn enough to make it so. Hopefully we end up with the Z that ended the year 8-0 from August on.

I'm not a big fan of Rosenbloom and his hard-headed populism but this is some good perspective. The Pena part and looking for Latin leadership is especially interesting. I've heard the rumors about Soriano being a party boy as well. Whether that had anything to do with the fact Pie hit curveballs about as well as Cerrano I'm not sure, but it's becoming clear he's not a great clubhouse guy.
