Big Al out with ACL

One day after the night that he put up only the 2nd 35 pt / 20 rb game in the NBA this season, it appears that Al Jefferson is done for the year with a torn ACL. The bad news only got worse after being snubbed for the all star game.

Will someone please remove the curse on pro basketball in Minnesota. First LA steals the Lakers, then the train wreck known as the T-wolves arrives to define franchise disaster. I don't even count the ABA Muskie experiment.

The Wolves were actually playing pretty well, after the horrendous start. They will really tank now. It's too bad for Al. I read in this morning's paper that he said he felt a "pop" in the knee, and I feared this would be the diagnosis.
