BiG 12 Teams as Pizza Brands

Blaze is basically a pizza version of Subway. One price for all the toppings you want. It works great for a quick lunch or something on the go, but there’s better pizza out there.

For the price I don't think you can find something closer to a real pizza though. Definitely not at a chain. The product at Blaze is closer to a Pizza in a Rome/Naples restaurant than 99% of all the pizza in the US if someone likes that kind of pizza. In the pizza wasteland I live in (LA) quite a few "artisan" pizza places get it less right than Blaze for stupid prices.

Really meh...... KU is not a Red Baron analogy. It is more like the snooty brick oven joint that people go to to be seen and fashionable.

WHY is Iowa State NOT Pizza Pit?
I remember when Domino's National #1 and #2 pizza stores by volume were the two stores located in Ames. Yet the numbers for Pizza Pit's two stores exceeded Domino's on most weeks.

Pizza Pit started in Ames in the early 1980s. It now has stores in Ames, Iowa City, FIVE in Madison, and seven other Wisconsin stores.

Agree, we should have been PP. They've been in Ames since at least '77.

I didn't know PP was that early. I knew they started in a different location than where they are at now.

I still remember the Shakey's in West Ames (seems to me it was west of where HyVee now stands, and on the north side of Lincoln Way. So much has changed in that area).
