Just for fun, I checked the Rivals.com depth charts for each of ISU's conferernce opponents next year, and virtually every team returns a strong nucleus - numbers wise. So if the Clones are going to go to the next level next year, they'll have to count on more than returning experience.

Very true. However, a lot of teams are losing playmakers. OSU loses Weeden and Blackmon. OU loses Broyles, I don't know about Jones. I would assume Griffin goes pro. That's a lot of offense to lose out of the conference.

I see a lot of big time play makers leaving ASSUMING that Landry Jones and RGIII go pro.

However, keep in mind that TCU and WVU return some very talented guys, especially at QB, that are going to be major headaches.

I think the Big 12 won't be as tough next year as it was this year, but it will still be one of the top 2 leagues in the country.

and we have seen how OU has come apart without Broyles and look no further than the 2009 Baylor team to see how they do without RG3. I think Baylor missing a bowl game next year without him.

I think overall the Big12 will be down.

I think Baylor and Oklahoma will still be good teams just not as good as they were this year

I hope RG3 leaves otherwise we will have two Baylors to play. The real one and WVU. Geno Smith is for real.

OU was a 9 win team, that is a down year for OU. I think the least amount of wins they have had since Stoops took over was 8 wins in 2005. If they aren't as good next year, they will be entirely beatable at JT. They were beatable this year.

Agree, but the Big 12 was very, very good this year. From top to bottom, it was the best conference in the nation hands down.
