Texas Tech has 27 penalties for 250 yards? We have some room for improvement there, but wow, that's a lot worse.

I was thinking that too, but we had something that year that we don't have this year. Interior D-Line with Leaders and Curvey. Our D-Line must step up if we're to have that type of season again.

I was telling my buddy after the game, that way this D played reminded me a lot of 04 and 05, at least in terms of going out and getting turnovers/strong special teams play (albeit field goal kicking is 10x better right now, imo). Let's hope the interior line picks it up.
