Howdy! My family just moved to Colorado. Unfortunately I don't think we'll be back for any games this season. After 14 years of season tickets, I will most likely miss every homestand. I went with Dish Network out here. My question: Does the Big 12 have an actual Network they will unveil this season? I remember the schools talked all about the television revenue. However it now seems like a network has not even been mentioned. Will I get to see my beloved Cyclones every Saturday this fall????

You need these channels for football:

FX
Fox
FSN (or Root Sports)
ABC
ESPN
ESPN2

On a Big 12 Network, no (hence it not being mentioned).

On other networks? Yes. Namely ABC family of networks, Fox affiliates, etc.

Is that for the regional (or national) programming? I intend to get the Sports Pack strictly to have the chance to watch ISU. However I wonder if those markets will air out here.

FX, Fox, ESPN and ESPN2 would be national.

ABC is usually regional. If the game isn't on in your region, and your ISP offers ESPN3/WatchESPN, you're set.

FSN is regional, but the Big 12 games are usually on at least a dozen of them.

I heard of a guy once that borrowed a friends satellite dish's extra receiver for a weekend in another state to get the cyclone games and local Iowa tv in another state. Not sure if that will still work to get the local fox channel.
