Houston paper had an article about Big 12 expanding and then realigining. Anyone heard anything up there about this and who the Big 12 would want and the new alignment?

I just hope it is true that the Big 12 is proactively pursuing expansion, and that they strike before the Big Ten does.

If Texas would just agree to revenue sharing your could insure the stability of the league. Which is great for them and could actually generate more money if a Network was formed so I don't get why they ar enot more for it.
I don't think the Big 12 expanding necessarily means that teams wouldn't still bolt if courted by the Big 10. Mizzou would probably go regardless, and if they did, Nebraska would look long and hard.
If we could get some sort of Pac 10/B12 TV network, that would go much further towards securing the conference, as that would bring in more money than just adding Louisville, Cinci, TCU, etc.

This would be so badazz. I could actually see this happening in conjunction with the Big11-16 Network and then the SW getting its own thing going as well.
It would be pretty sweet. Also, get some Pac 10/B12 matchups going similar to the Bball thing.
If both conferences expanded to 14 and we combined for a TV network it would be huge money for everyone.
We could add L-ville and Cincy/S.Florida
Pac 10 could add Utah, BYU, Boise State and TCU
Why not just add two teams and make four 6 team regional divisions. Set up a TV network and playoff system and you could probably knock the Big X off its pedestal.
Just think if the Big12/Pac10 could set up a superconference with its own TV network and also academic alliance. Wow.
