Any word on when the university would be able to start selling it's allotment of tickets?

Where are people staying ? Is there a best place ?

I got round trip flights very reasonable. Just need to figure out the rest.

1. Probably shortly after it’s officially announced. Not sure how the university will handle its allotment though, I assume donors will have priority.

2. There are several hotels near the stadiums in Arlington.

3. Good move getting flights booked. Those prices will probably skyrocket once it’s official.

I went ahead and bought mine through the stadium/seat geek. There are several sights selling but seat geek seems to be the affiliated one and seems to have the best prices. We are driving.

Pollard says the school will get around 4000 tickets for donors. So it’s likely that they will run out fast. They might have a hotel package at some point.

They don’t want fans staying at the team hotel for obvious reasons.

My buddy purchased tickets through stubhub right after the game on Saturday. I was able to snag a hotel right across the parking lot from the stadium for a decent rate (Days Inn), so check there if you don't really care where you stay. We're driving down Friday and coming back Sunday.

Bought mine the day the Big 12 put them on sale, through SeatGeek - wouldn't recommend waiting on ISU's allotment unless you're a big donor (even then, they are typically not pleased with seats for bowl games). Driving down & have family in the area, cheap trip - hoping nothing changes drastically where they don't allow fans.

Bought our tickets on SeatGeek as well. Got our flights booked today. We will be staying near DFW since my uncle lives in Grapevine. Going to spend some time with him while we are there.

Sames. Days Inn. Surprised at the decent rate. I booked flights and hotel weeks ago.
