Feedback: Betting threads

Any chance we could get these moved off the front page? Maybe its only me, but it seems like they dominate the front page quite a bit.

It's really convenient when the threads turn into the game threads so you don't have to look into multiple places. :yes:

The ones that people bet on just fall off the front page pretty fast... The only ones that stay are games being discussed and why not have it with the betting thread instead of starting two seperate threads. They are obviously popular or they wouldn't be up there.

This has been hashed over and over again, but I don't really have time to go back and find all the other threads. Some people love them, others hate them. Just like kickoff time, some love it, some hate it. It's just the way it is. I believe the answer has already been given in this thread in a couple of different reasons.

I'd kinda like to see "in-state rivals" make it back to the "front page"

I might be in the minority, but one of the boards I post on got moved off the front page because its so popular and I have no issue with that.

I think betting threads on the front page are fine. Sometimes they clutter up the front page when they are first posted all at once, but then they disappear like mentioned above, and only reappear when there is meaningful discussion about the event, usually as it is being played. They serve a nice purpose.
