Looks like we have a new #1 golfer in the world, North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Il.

Il shot a decent -38 on his first round out which only included 5 holes in one.

Wonder when he is going to join the PGA Tour...

Fortunately for all entrants, North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il will not be playing. If the official government media is to be believed, Kim is easily the greatest golfer, the world has ever seeen. Pyongyang media say North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il enjoys golf, having shot multiple holes-in-one during his first try at the game. He reportedly aced five holes and finished 38 under par on the golf course. The "Great Leader" routinely shoots three or four holes-in-one per round, the government-controlled media reported.

Oh that Kim Jong, he's such a rascally rabbit.

Ok, so I read that article twice, thinking it was one of those "for fun" articles you find on SportsPickle or that it was miniature golf they were talking about. But I didn't see anything like that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I really hope they're not being serious.

That said, I'd like to see one of his people contest his scores. Probably be the last thing they ever do.

I would love to see that guy's golf swing; secret, behind-the-scenes video would be nice...something that gets on YouTube that would embarrass the hell out of that egomaniac!

It's a real article. Here is the Wikipedia info on Human Rights in North Korea.

They can only watch Government controlled TV, they cannot have cell phones, etc.
