Lets help each other out on the teams we don't know. I'll start with Oregon. I know they're good and supposedly got jobbed on seeding, but I know know nothing else about them.

Also #3 New Mexico. I haven't watched a single game of theirs.

Feels like cheating to pick mid-majors but St. Louis is it for me. I know they're supposed to be THE hot mid-major this year, but I couldn't tell you anything about the team outside of the made-for-TV Majerus story.

On AZ, I know they got Mark Lyons from Xavier..and he's a stud. Thats I know about them.

As soon as Montana-Syracuse was selected, Seth Davis completely geeked out and called that game as his first upset. I hear Montana has a great back court, but who are they and how good is this team overall?

I am not buying Oregon over OSU like a lot of the 'experts' are doing. I just think Smart, Brown and Nash will pull out a close one. Oregon can shoot the three very well and had a key injury part of the year and won their tourney. They are, like many have said, better than a 12 seed. Still think OSU wins.

I am all over St. Louis. Seen them play a few times. They really do a great job dictating the pace and have been rolling along the past month or so beating a lot of good teams. I am seriously considering a huge upset with them beating Louisville. Not quite ready to pull the trigger yet but they could win.

I am wanting to also pull the trigger on Davidson over Marquette but don't know enough about Davidson other than they have all their starters back from the NCAAs last year and many think they are much higher than a 14 seed.

I follow saint Louis quite a bit, and they dictate pace very well as mentioned. Watching them at the A10 tourney, it really became apparent that they don't turn it over much as they have great guards. Their three guards are to juniors and a senior. They could all play the point for SLU. They are also very disciplined and don't take many bad shots. Finally, thevA10 tourney MVP Dwayne Evans is a small power forward that seem to have a soft touch near the hoop, like Kenny Pratt.

I'm worried about the travel from Brooklyn to Stl to San Jose in a little over 24 hours, but they fly charter, so that helps.

oh yeah, the Barclays Center in Brooklyn is awesome.

My alma mater, Montana State, plays in the same conference as them, so to me they are like Iowa for most of you guys, except worse because of the conference thing. They are pretty salty in the backcourt with Will Cherry and Kareem Jamar, but lost their best post player and leading scorer for the season. They are extremely well-coached and can play up-tempo or in the half-court. I kind of liked them for an upset until they drew Syracuse, who I think is far too athletic and long for dUMb to handle.
