Best Non-Emergency 911 calls

"Ma'am, we're not going to go down there and enforce your Western Bacon Cheeseburger....What are we protecting you from, a wrong cheeseburger? Is this a harmful cheeseburger or something?" :biglaugh:

Math is tricky, so a 4-year-old girl thought the nice folks at 911 might help out with some subtraction problems she was focused on. The dispatcher seemed happy to oblige.

I'll give these guys credit - they do take some stuff in stride.

Just two weeks ago, my sister was visiting us and her son came along - a little 6 y/o who's severely disabled. He likes to get ahold of our phone (unsupervised) and start pushing the buttons to see them light up and hear the beeps.

Somehow he managed to dial 9-1-1. Of course the operator heard nobody on the line and they dispatched an officer to our house.

:embarrassed:

I stepped out to gas up the car and get a paper and hence wasn't there at the time - but my sister told me he was very understanding and polite.

when I was six I called 911 because my brother (4) had swallowed a penny - Mom was outside.

They told me 1 penny was ok, but not to let him eat anymore.

I've used that advice my whole life
