Best mattresses for back and side sleepers

Figure out how much you want to spend first. If it's your first mattress, be prepared for sticker shock. I've bought our mattresses from Nebraska Furniture Mart (in KC). They price match and deliver/take away for free. I've been happy with them.
For back and side sleepers, the TemperPedic is pretty damn good. Sucks for stomach sleepers though.
I don't have one personally but I've heard great reviews on the ones Amazon sells. If you look them up on Amazon, just look for the matresses in the best sellers with a billion reviews. They deliver rolled up so cost is actually very low for shipping.
I bought a tempurpedic 5 years ago that cost probably $3,000ish. Best mattress I've ever slept on and I'm a 80-90% side sleeper and flip sides once or twice a night.
We paid $400 for a memory foam/latex combo king size mattress 4 years ago on Amazon. It's holding up great and both my wife and I pretty much love it. Bought my kids mattresses for like $125 (doubles) ea on amazon and you can definitely tell the difference between those and what my wife and I have, so don't go too cheap. That being said, I'll probably never spend much more than $500 on a mattress ever again.

#1 It has held up well. Doesn't slump where you sleep.
#2 I'm a side sleeper. I've had back problems in the past but I've never had a back problem from any bed.
#3 If you have a tendency to sleep on your arm, tempurpedic's are terrible. I constantly have issues with my arms falling asleep.
#4 They are hot as hell in the summer
#5 I miss the softness of a pillowtop mattress.
#6 Buying sheets for it is $$$$
If I was to do it again I'd save my money and pay 1/3 for a pillowtop and just replace it more often.

Bought a Sleep Number in January - best ever thing I did. I control my side of the bed, and there is control for the other side. You use normal sheets, and I have a heated mattress pad that I use in the winter. I have a king, it wasn't cheap but when comparing it to buy something of similar quality at Homemakers or comparable it really wasn't that much more and there was no deliver fee. Personally, I would never buy a bed off the internet unless I went to a store first and checked it out.
