Bernie Mac Dead

wow, too bad. pneumonia is serious business when coupled with any other disease. I had pneumonia last winter and made sure to rest up and missed a week of work just so not to complicate things, just in case.

Ugh, what is happening to my hollywood. The good ones die and the bad ones get more roles.

"CHICAGO (AP) — A publicist says Emmy and Golden Globe nominated actor and comedian Bernie Mack has died at age 50."

Maybe I'm an idiot....but sheesh...does the AP read their articles first? At least the spelled it right some of the time in the article =/

In their defense they were the only news organization that already had a linked story... And the headline is correct.

I didn't always find all of his work amuzing, but some of it was dynamite. Sorry to hear this news.

I remember him doing the 7th inning at stretch at Wrigley last year or the year before. In lieu of singing, "buy me some peanuts and cracker jack", he sang, "buy me some peanuts and crack...what?" I found that pretty funny. I also liked him in Ocean's 11 when he and Matt Damon get into it (as a ploy) and he calls Damon a cracker. I laughed pretty hard at that exchange. Never really watched his tv show, though...
