Arrived in Brussels Belgium today at 9:30am local time after not sleeping the last 22 hours. Drove to Bruges Belgium where we are staying the next three nights. Took an hour nap and then checked out our first bar. Had a lot of good fruit beer. The framboise was the only thing I didn't like. This place has 400 beers on their menu.

Go back to Brussels. Have a "Radieuse" at the King of Spain (Roy d'Espagne) on the Grand'Place. Be sure to pet the stuffed horse at the bottom of the stairs for good luck.

I was lucky to find a westvleteren 12 at one of the bars without going to the abby. I'm not a big fan of quads but this was pretty good. It's supposed to be the best beer in the world.

I took some pictures of the Grand Place but didn't go inside.

Very jealous, looks like you are having a blast

Probably going to be pretty boring the rest of the trip when it comes to beers. In Austria today and heading to Munich tomorrow. Spent about 400 miles on the atobahn today and have to say it's a little overrated. The BMW I was driving went 129mph(governor) for about 10 miles. Out of that 400 miles there was probably only 20 that you could go at a real high rate of speed. A lot of traffic and a TON of road construction. The highlight of the trip was being behind a Ferrari 458 Italina that was going about 80mph and just took off, I rolled down the windows and could hear him for about 1/2 mile. Did have a beer at the top of Zugspitze.

First day in Munich. Thought we'd get Hofbrauhaus out of the way. Had a dunkel and then a dunkel radler. Even though my wife called said I had pussitosus, I like the mix of beer and lemonade in the radler. aviary_1410784771683.jpg

Today visited Dachau and then went to the Augustiner Keller beer garden. Outdoor seating for 5,000+ right in the city. Very awesome.
