actually doesn't look a whole lot different from Kathy Freeman a few olympics back...

It just seems so ridiculous to me... but maybe if you grew up like that it wouldn't.

Probably not, or at least not until these countries rid themselves of the "religious police" (I forget the name of them) that enforce the strictest forms of Islam (like, for instance, if the women even think about getting out of their robe (forget the name of that too) they instantly get rapped upside the head with a mallet). I consider these guys the REAL power behind these countries - they persecute anyone who even has the slightest difference in beliefs to the point of public beatings that no one is willing to stand up to them.
