Anyone here taken the Becker CPA Course? If so, do you think it helped you pass the CPA exam?

Good luck if you're taking it! That's a couple years out yet for some of us.

Just wish bad luck on everyone else who takes it in July/August - I need 75%? to pass, and they grade on a curve.

It's been a very long time, but the Becker courses used to be the best. I used Gliem/Delaney study materials as well as a course at Drake - but that's because Becker didn't used to be available in the midwest. I subsequently found out it was considered to be the best.

Good luck with the exam. It's a major pain in the rear, but in the end that little CPA acronym means an awful lot, even if it's just opening doors.

I took it 6 years ago but I just bought the book and the CD since I didn't like to attend regular classes. I worked that time and had to study on my own pace. I found it very useful as the questions were very similar to what actually showed up in the real exam.

Regarding comparison with GLEIM and other programs, I'm not sure. I know for CMA exam courses, Gleim allows you to download the updates from their database for new questions if you purchase the CD. However, you can only install the CD in 2 different computers. Not sure whether Becker gives you the same kind of support and.or limitation.

Good luck
