Baylor top tackle out with torn acl

Sucks for the kid personally and I wish him well, but Baylor has been damn lucky this year (kicker hits his first kick against ISU and getting screwed against the refs). The team needed a little bad luck.

Seriously, BU has lived on some thin margins this year. Against ISU, a blitzing Cyclone knocked the ball out of Brewer's hand on the Baylor side of the field. Unfortunately for us, the ball bounced right back up into his hands and he ran for about a 5 yard gain. If the Clones get that TO, they would have had a great shot to score.

In their last regulation drive against TTU, Brewer was sacked on Baylor's 1/2 yard line. 2 feet further and it would have been a safety and TTU's ball. Then of course, there's the bad snap/no snap call that also went Baylor's way against Tech.

Of course, I'd never hope for a player to be injured, but some of those quirky breaks need to start going against the Bears.

Tech also got the benefit of an intentional grounding flag being picked up, that should have resulted in a safety... they said their was a receiver in the area??? Only if the area was 20 yards in the air as the ball went over the sideline eventually hitting a cheerleader in the butt.
